Myrtle Counts activism started when she attended the March on Washington and heard Dr. King deliver his I Have a Dream speech. She is the former President of the Roselle Area NAACP and has served for over forty years in that role and still serves as the First Vice President of the organization. She brings a unique perspective on Black history and her stories span decades.
