DESCRIPTION:If you have a young, reluctant or struggling reader, we want y
 ou to meet our therapy dog!  She is a non-judgmental listener and furry f
 riend that won’t laugh if your child makes a mistake or stumbles over a 
 word.Children learn to associate reading with being with the dog, and begi
 n to view reading in a positive way. Over time, the child’s reading abil
 ity and confidence can improve because they are practicing their skills. 
 Children will each get approximately 15 minutes of reading time with Bubbl
 e.Clark residents with library cards have priority registration.  All oth
 ers will be on the pending waitlist until 48 hours before the event if spa
 ce remains.
